Influencer Jen Hamilton is opening up about her mindset on dating after her separation from estranged husband Brian Hamilton.

Jen, 35, claimed in a Thursday, August 13, profile for The Cut that Brian had already moved on, quipping that it was “not to employment,” and explained that she was not in a rush to be in a relationship.

“Right now, I’m of the belief that all men should start out in jail and earn their way out,” she said. “I hate that I need a wiener in my life. Can I please be gay? I wish I could fix that, but I’m gonna need a software update or something because it just don’t work out for me like that.”

In June, Jen shared that she and Brian were splitting after 14 years of marriage. The pair share two sons.

“Yes, we are separating. This comes with enormous pain for the both of us but also gratitude for the 15 years of shared history, love, and friendship,” a joint statement read at the time. “What we are committed to is loving each other well through this transition and placing the wellbeing of the family we created at the center.”

Jen has since claimed that Brian was leading a “double life” and had been unfaithful. In her profile for The Cut, Jen alleged that she and Brian had briefly separated after he previously had an affair but had reconciled.

“He did all this stuff to make me feel like he had changed,” she said.

In the recent affair, Jen alleged that the other woman had called her. (Brian has not publicly addressed the allegations. Us reached out for comment.)

“I knew about you. He talked about you all the time,” Jen recalled of the other woman’s comments. “I just didn’t know you had so many followers.”

While recalling the moment, Jen alleged that the call with the other woman “pissed [her] off” and partially led her to go public with her story. She went on to claim that she found a secret TikTok account Brian had used to message other women.

“Which, bold, because that’s where I live. That’s my neck of the woods,” she said.

Jen, whose book Birth Vibes: Stories and Strategies for an Empowered Birth reached New York Times best-seller list, shared that she’s working on the proposal for a memoir.

“It’s going to be about this season of my life, for sure,” she said, “because it can’t not be.”
