Latest Shocking Entertainment News: Influencer Carly Douglas Dead at 36 Months After Stage 4 Cancer Diagnosis

Influencer Carly Douglas died just three months after being diagnosed with stage IV cancer. She was 36.

“On June 13, 2026, Carly Faye Douglas stepped into complete glory, in her final resting place,” read a post shared via Douglas’ Instagram account on Tuesday, June 16. “She met her Maker and Savior face to face, and her arms are full with her two Heaven babies. Carly fought cancer with grit and determination, while being full of hope and always pointing anyone who would listen, back to God, the One who held her in the palm of His hand.”

The tribute continued, “Carly was joy personified, pure sunshine. It felt as though her smile was permanently stitched on her face and her laugh was constantly waiting to bubble out of her. To be known by Carly Faye, was to be loved by Carly Faye.”

Douglas revealed in March that she was diagnosed with gastric cancer. The influencer subsequently documented her health battle via Instagram, where she had 137,000 followers at the time of publication.

Carly is survived by her husband, David Douglas, and their three kids.

“She treasured her children and savored every moment with them, soaking up every last drop of giggles and hugs until the very end,” the social media post continued. “Being River, Faye and Townes’ mother was her greatest honor and joy. Carly loved her husband, David, with everything she had. Her best friend, her person, the man she could not wait to see walk through the door every evening. Their love was deep and wide and permeated every inch of their lives and home.”

Carly’s loved ones further noted that they are “devastated” following her death.

“The Carly-sized hole left in her family and friends’ lives will never be filled. But, we do not grieve without hope,” they concluded via Instagram. “We know she is whole, complete, and the most joyful, radiant version of herself. More than anything, Carly would want everyone who reads this to pursue God and the eternal peace she now has. Carly Faye Douglas is home 💛.”

Less than one month before her death, Carly honored her support system in an emotional social media tribute.

“Adult friends are wild: one day you hardly know these people and the next day, you are actually ‘living’ with them,” Carly wrote on May 23. “Experiencing the ups and downs, talking through marriage and parenting struggles, praying through health scares and baby colds, asking potty training questions and working through family heartaches. And dropping everything to just be with someone because they need a bug.”
