Latest Shocking Entertainment News: Reward Offered for Savannah Guthrie’s Missing Mom Nancy Guthrie

Authorities are now offering a reward amid the search for Savannah Guthrie’s missing mom, Nancy Guthrie.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department shared on Monday, February 2, that a reward of up to $2,500 can be offered for information related to Nancy’s disappearance.

“Reward up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons involved in the disappearance,” a statement read on Facebook. “The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the publics assistance with any information related to the disappearance of Mrs. Nancy Guthrie. She was last seen at her home near Skyline and Campbell around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2026.”

The statement continued, “Any video and photograph information is strongly requested for evaluation and analysis of evidentiary value.”

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact 88-CRIME or (520) 882-7463. People can also use the mobile app P2TIPS or visit 88crime.org. All tips will remain anonymous.

One day later, Sheriff Chris Nanos told NBC’s Liz Kreutz in an interview that the search is a “race against time,” adding, “and I hope that window hasn’t closed.”

News broke on Sunday, February 1, that Nancy was reported missing by a family member who called 911. The 84-year-old was last seen on Saturday, January 31.

The Los Angeles Times reported on Tuesday, February 3, that authorities found blood inside Nancy’s home, citing law enforcement sources. When the family went to Nancy’s home on Sunday, the outlet reported that all of her personal belongings — including her wallet, cell phone and car — were still at her residence.

While speaking exclusively to Us Weekly, Nanos shared that what was found in Nancy’s home gave them pause.

“Something unusual at that house occurred that made us go, ‘Wow, something’s wrong here. Something doesn’t fit,’” Nanos shared. “We’re gonna pull all the stops and go at all angles. We really do hope it’s a search and rescue mission and we find her and she’s safe and sound. But it would be unjust if we didn’t look at what’s in front of us and go, ‘We need to act.’”

Savannah, meanwhile, was absent from her desk at the Today Show on Monday but shared a statement on behalf of her family.

“On behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers and messages of support,” the statement read. “Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom. We thank law enforcement for their hard work on this case and encourage anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900.”

Later that day, Savannah went on to share a separate statement alongside a graphic that read, “Please Pray.”

“We believe in prayer. we believe in voices raised in unison, in love, in hope. we believe in goodness. we believe in humanity. above all, we believe in Him,” Savannah wrote. “Thank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant. raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment.”

Savannah shared a Bible verse, writing, “We need you. ‘He will keep in perfect peace those whose hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.’ a verse of Isaiah for all time for all of us.”

She concluded her message with a plea, “Bring her home.”
