Latest Shocking Entertainment News: Jazmyn Simon Shares Her Marriage Secrets to Husband Dule Hill
Jazmyn Simon and husband Dulé Hill have learned the trick to maintaining a happy and healthy marriage.
“It’s easy to love Dulé,” the actress, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly at the Cirque du Soleil’s “KOOZA” Los Angeles premiere on Thursday, October 24. “But I will say the secret is thinking about all the good things and trying to forget the things that get on your nerves.”
Simon, who wed Hill in 2018, confessed that there are times when she and Hill get under each other’s skin. However, she and her husband always move forward after the annoying instances and focus on the bigger picture.
“In marriage, you’re gonna get on each other’s nerves,” she continued. “But at the end of the night, you gotta refocus on the things that they do great, and that will keep you going.”

Simon and Hill first connected on the set of Ballers. The couple got engaged in 2017 and tied the knot the following year. Hill later adopted Simon’s daughter Kennedy, whom she welcomed in a previous relationship. Simon and Hill expanded their family with son Levi in 2019.
Simon brought Levi as her plus-one for the event since Hill was busy with a work obligation. Hill’s loss was Levi’s win, as the little one was thrilled to see the show.
“Dulé is working so he can’t be here tonight,” she told Us. “Levi and I are on a date and he is so excited. He has watched the trailer at least 20 times. I’m not exaggerating, and he gets to stay up late tonight.”
While Simon got to enjoy some quality time with Levi, she acknowledged that keeping up with her children’s activities is exhausting for her and Hill.
“My son’s social calendar is bigger than mine. When we put him to sleep, Dulé and I are like, ‘We’re just gonna sit here in silence for 45 minutes,’” she teased. “Our son goes to bed at 7 so we sit there till 7:45 looking stunned and then by 8, we try to figure out our lives.”
While parenthood has its ups and downs, Simon gushed about how Hill is the “best partner.”

“Parenthood is the ghetto. OK. It is the hood. That’s why it’s called parenthood,” she joked. “It has brought us closer because we’re in it together. We just look across the couch and think, ‘Wow, that was a day,’ but it’s important to have a partner.”
Simon hopes that her and Hill’s relationship has set a good example of showing her children “that true love is real,” and that one day her kids will find a genuine relationship like hers and Hill’s.
“Mommy and Daddy love each other,” she gushed. “And that he can find a love that we have. He just has to look. All you got to do is look.”
