Latest Shocking Entertainment News: Christina Hall and Ant Anstead's Ups and Downs
After Christina Hall (née Haack) split from her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, the reality star found happiness with English television presenter Ant Anstead, but their picture-perfect romance didn’t last.
Us Weekly exclusively confirmed in January 2018 that Christina and Ant were dating, a little over two years after the HGTV personality split from Tarek in December 2016 — with whom she shares daughter, Taylor, and son, Brayden.
The couple went on to have a whirlwind year, celebrating their first anniversary together, tying the knot that December and welcoming their first child together in September 2019.

…..” the Flip or Flop star gushed alongside a picture of her kissing the Wheeler Dealers host in October 2018. “A year ago today @ant_anstead called me for the first time and we spoke for 29 mins two days later while he was at Sema he FaceTimed me (I was thinking who FaceTimes) anyways I answered and we spoke for 2.5 hours … two days later we met for the first time and we’ve been inseparable ever since. #FATE.”
Christina added: “@ant_anstead you have showed me what real unconditional love is. You take me for what I am, flawed and a bit crazy, and love all of me just the way I am. You have never once made me feel bad for anything in my past. You put me in my place when I need to be put there. Hold me when I’m having a bad day. I love this life with you. I love our blended family. I can’t wait to see where the next year takes us. I know it’s going to be magical.

Two months after Christina’s heartfelt post, Us confirmed the pair tied the knot in a romantic wedding at their California home. Christina’s children with Tarek, as well as Ant’s daughter Amelie and son Archie from a previous marriage took part in the nuptials. She also later revealed that she was pregnant at the time!
The duo welcomed their first child in September 2019. However, one year later, they announced their split and things turned messy.

The interior designer stopped by the Us Weekly studios and opened up about her ex’s feelings on her then-boyfriend. “Tarek likes him,” she explained at the time. “What’s not to like? Everybody likes him. He’s a great guy.” As for her kids, Christina added: “They love him. His kids are amazing. Like I said, he’s a great dad ... His kids are very grounded and they’re very polite. Days after revealing her pregnancy news, Christina showed off her tiny baby bump in an Instagram post and gave an update on how she had been feeling. “Now that I can talk about [it], the first trimester was brutal!” she wrote. “Maybe it’s my age (35- considered a geriatric pregnancy 🤦🏼♀️🙄) lol… or maybe I just forgot how bad it was with Tay and Bray. But yikes it really blind sided [sic] me. Nausea, exhaustion, too many food aversions, too many carbs…. anyways I’m officially back to feeling somewhat normal. The couple announced their decision to split on September 18. "Ant and I have made the difficult decision to separate. Us confirmed that the pair equally divided their possessions shortly after signing off on their divorce paperwork, with Christina keeping her wedding ring, two luxury vehicles and five properties: one in Tennessee and four in California. Ant, for his part, secured seven cars — including a Porsche, a Range Rover and a Ford Mustang — and maintained complete ownership of his businesses. Ant appeared to slam his ex-wife's parenting once again by claiming that she uses Hudson as a "puppet" for her own benefit on social media. "Being a kid and capturing organic moments in the footsteps of a toddler I’m all in favour of! It’s a lovely diary to keep and look back on. But being a puppet “used” for commercial gain and being made to perform makes my stomach sick. The two are of course very different x x," he wrote via his Instagram comments. Ahead of a custody hearing, Ant accused his ex-wife of exploiting Hudson in her promotional social media posts and on reality TV. "One of my many fears of Hudson being forced to film reality TV is the possibility that public ridicule over seemingly benign content becomes insurmountably humiliating,” he wrote in court documents obtained by Us. “I urge the courts to review the recent and tragic case of Kailia Posey and a defining embarrassing meme.” Posey, a Toddlers & Tiaras alum, died by suicide at age 16 in May 2022. Christina fired back in her own declaration and accused her ex of filing his petition "solely for the purpose of making these inflammatory statements" about her. "I am a dedicated and protective mother and am diligent about the welfare of all my children," she wrote. Amid the twosome’s ongoing custody battle, Christina revealed how “mentally exhausted” she is amid Anstead’s allegations. “Hudson’s father has made attempts to turn my family, friends and fans against me through manipulation tactics and false information,” she wrote, in part, via Instagram. “Hudson’s father has made it clear via his public court filings he is using Instagram to rate the kind of parent I am, since that is the only access he has to my personal life.” The HGTV star ultimately planned to stop featuring Hudson on her social media moving forward. The former couple settled their custody battle and canceled their planned March 2023 trial, according to People. While celebrating Mother's Day, Christina reflected on being "in a very bad place" during her "extremely unnecessary custody battle" with her ex-husband.
