Latest Shocking Celebrity News: Lindsay Lohan's Friends and Family Throw the Pregnant Actor a Baby Shower

Mom-to-be Lindsay Lohan was feeling the love this weekend thanks to her friends and family. The "Falling For Christmas" actor and her financier husband, Bader Shammas, are expecting their first child later this year. In anticipation of the couple's impending new arrival, Lindsay's pals - including siblings Aliana and Dakota Lohan - came together to throw the star a baby shower.

Lindsay shared a few snaps from her shower on her Instagram Story, including a photo originally shared by her friend Juliet Angus. The image consultant captioned the pic of her and Lindsay, "Flew into town to shower my gorgeous preggers bestie and glowing mama-to-be." Another one of the 36-year-old's friends, Samantha Pariente, shared a photo of herself alongside the Lohan sisters. "16 years and nearly 3 babies later... it's still us," she wrote.

Even Lindsay's brother, Dakota, got in on the fun. He shared photos from the day on his Instagram Stories as well, including a picture of his sisters seizing a shopping opportunity and a snap of himself with his arm wrapped around Shammas's shoulder, captioned, "My brother for life."

Lindsay announced she and Shammas are expecting in an Instagram post on March 14. The "Mean Girls" star didn't share when her baby is due, but she did post an adorable onesie that read "coming soon..." alongside her caption. "Coming Soon. We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼," she wrote.

Shammas and Lindsay have kept a low profile since announcing their marriage in July 2022. They officially confirmed their engagement in 2021, just one year after they were first linked together.

In a March interview with People, Lindsay's mom, Dina Lohan, opened up about how excited her daughter is to become a mom. "Lindsay has always loved kids because I love kids and my mother loves kids; I'm one of four," she explained. "We have a big family, so she's always wanted children. And she's so maternal. Isabelle, her niece, just runs to her when she sees her."

Dina continued, "She's been trying, and then it happened, that little stick came up positive. It's the right time for her, and Bader is an angel. Her husband is so sweet, and they're just so happy. They're just really happy and ready."
