Latest Shocking Celebrity News: Jennifer Aniston Says Season 3 of "The Morning Show" Has Wrapped: "So Much More to Come"

Breaking news: "The Morning Show" season three has finished filming, according to series star Jennifer Aniston. On Feb. 10, she shared a gallery of behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the set on Instagram. She wrote in the caption, "That's a wrap on Season 3 🥹👏🏼Love love LOVE this @themorningshow crew - So much more to come!!" The photos featured her co-lead Reese Witherspoon, other members of the cast including Jon Hamm, Marcia Gay Harden, and Mark Duplass, and members of the crew including Kristin Hahn and Lauren Neustadter. Witherspoon commented, "Love you and Our whole cast& crew SO MUCH!!"

The slideshow included a video of Anniston addressing the crew at the end of filming. She says in the clip, "I'm so lucky to get to work with you. Thank you for everything."

Back in October 2022, the "Friends" actor shared another group of photos and videos from the set of the hit Apple TV+ series alongside a caption announcing how close season three was to being completed. Hilariously, this was news to Witherspoon, who commented, "Wait . . . are we really???🤪"

That set of photos included a shot of Anniston wearing a riding helmet and goggles - which suggests her character Alex might be hopping on a motorcycle at some point in the new season. The actor also shared photos from a night shoot at Coney Island and a snap of herself stretched out on a couch on set. Additionally, she shared a video PSA reminding everyone to lotion their feet before they spray tan.

In the video, Aniston has her foot in a sink while someone tries to wash off her tan mishap. "Note to self: hands and feet, you must lotion before you spray tan because otherwise, you end up with this situation," she says.

In August, Witherspoon announced that season three was in production when she shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the fictional daytime TV-show set on social media. "We're baaaack!" she tweeted with a selfie of her dressed in character as Bradley.

"The Morning Show" was renewed by Apple TV+ in January 2022, two months after season two's dramatic finale. According to the streamer, the upcoming season will welcome a new showrunner, Charlotte Stoudt, aboard the series. "I'm excited to be joining forces with Apple TV+ and 'The Morning Show,'" Stoudt said in a statement. "The cast, led by the phenomenal Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, are truly to die for. Kerry, Mimi and Michael, and the teams at Media Res, Hello Sunshine and Echo Films, have created an irresistible world that is equally delicious and provocative."

In addition to Witherspoon and Aniston - who both executive produce the series - "The Morning Show" cast features Karen Pittman, Julianna Margulies, Billy Crudup, Nestor Carbonell, Janina Gavankar, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Tom Irwin, Duplass, and Harden. Some of the new cast additions in season three include Hamm, Tig Notaro, Nicole Beharie, and Stephen Fry.

The Emmy-, SAG-, and Critics' Choice Award–winning series was originally picked up for only two seasons at Apple TV+, but buzz around the show has turned it into a full-on global hit. "The Morning Show"'s renewal news comes on the heels of its successful sophomore season, which picks up after the season one finale, when Bradley and Alex expose the toxic culture at their network. Season two's abrupt finale leaves viewers wondering which direction the news drama will go next, but hopefully, Aniston's update means we won't have to wait too long for season three.

"The Morning Show" has never been shy about pulling inspiration from real scandals at American morning shows, and since the second season aired, "Good Morning America" anchor TJ Holmes and Amy Robach sparked headlines nationwide after photos were published of the pair canoodling together. We wouldn't be surprised if some of that romantic drama made its way to episodes of "The Morning Show" soon.

Apple has yet to announce a release date for the new season, but we'd bet it'll be on our screens before the year is done.
