Latest Shocking Entertainment News: Prince George Signs Name Under Late Grandmother Princess Diana's Autograph
Prince William brought his 12-year-old son, Prince George, to volunteer at The Passage — 32 years after he went with his mother, Princess Diana.
“Introducing Prince George to The Passage — and Claudette,” a Saturday, December 20, post on the royal’s Instagram account read, referring to the organization’s head chef. “A huge thank you to everyone for your incredible work throughout the year and for continuing to inspire a shared commitment to preventing and ending homelessness in the UK.”
William, 43, and George helped cook a festive Christmas meal for The Passage guests on Tuesday, December 16.
“This marked the first time Prince William has taken Prince George to The Passage, a place that holds deep personal significance for him,” a YouTube video description read. “It was here that his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, brought Prince William when he was 11 years old, an experience that helped inspire The Prince’s lifelong commitment to tackling homelessness and later the creation of Homewards, his program demonstrating that it is possible to end homelessness.”

Diana, who died in 1997 after a fatal car accident, previously brought William to The Passage in December 1993 to help prepare a holiday meal. William even signed a guestbook directly under his mother’s autograph at the time.
George followed suit on Saturday, printing his first name and the date just below Diana and William’s respective signatures.
In addition to George, William shares daughter Princess Charlotte, 10, and son Prince Louis, 7, with wife Princess Kate Middleton. The Prince of Wales has since long made sure to share memories of his mother with Kate, 43, and their children.
“Having children is the biggest life-changing moment, it really is,” William said in a 2020 documentary for the BBC. “I think when you’ve been through something traumatic in life — [like] my mother dying when I was younger — your emotions come back in leaps and bounds because it’s a very different phase of life.”
He added, “There’s no one there to, kind of, help you, and I definitely found it very, at times, overwhelming. [Kate and I] support each other. We go through those moments together and we kind of evolve and learn together.”
George and his siblings even make homemade Mother’s Day cards for their late “Granny,” Diana, each March, when the holiday is observed in the United Kingdom.
“This year Mother’s Day will be different once again,” William captioned an Instagram post in 2021. “Many of us will be apart from our loved ones, but looking forward to a time in the not too distant future when we can give our mother a hug again.”

He added at the time, “For those experiencing bereavement, today may be particularly challenging. Each year on Mother’s Day, George, Charlotte and Louis make cards remembering their Granny, Diana, for William. Whatever your circumstances, we are thinking of you this Mother’s Day.”
William was 15 years old when his mother died. Diana is also survived by son Prince Harry and her siblings.
