Latest Shocking Entertainment News: DWTS' Rylee Arnold Addresses 'Lots of Speculation' About Engagement Rumors
Dancing With the Stars pro Rylee Arnold has an update about her relationship status with boyfriend Walker Lyons.
“There was lots of speculation [from] this trip coming around,” Arnold, 20, said in a Wednesday, December 24, TikTok video, referring to her recent getaway with Lyons, 21, and his family. “No, I am not engaged.”
Arnold further held up her two bare ring fingers as proof.
“This is my right hand, this is my left hand,” she said. “And, ringless. Seeing the videos of people thinking I was made me chuckle a little bit.”

Arnold and Lyons have been together since October 2024. After the ballroom dancer joined Lyons’ family on a holiday vacation earlier this month, social media users speculated whether the collegiate football player popped the question during the trip.
“The trip was the best, and me and Walker got to do our gift exchange, too,” she said in her TikTok upload. “I won’t be with him for Christmas Day, but he’s gonna be coming to Utah after Christmas, which is good.”
Arnold is spending the festive holiday with her parents, sisters and nieces and nephews in their Utah hometown.
“We did a little staycation in Salt Lake City last night, and that was a good time,” she recalled on Wednesday. “We ate a yummy dinner, I shopped a little bit, we went swimming and it was just really good to spend time with my whole family all together.”

The Arnolds — including Rylee’s eldest sister, former DWTS pro Lindsay Arnold — reunited again for a Christmas Eve celebration.
“My mom always finds the cutest and funniest pajamas,” Lindsay, 31, wrote via her Instagram Stories late on Wednesday. “So excited for tomorrow. Falling asleep so grateful.”
Lyons, for his part, is based in California where he attends the University of Southern California. The tight end recently applied for the transfer portal.
“That is really exciting, and I’m just really excited to see what happens and his next adventure,” Rylee further gushed in her Wednesday video. “These last couple weeks have, honestly, been super nice. I haven’t had time off like this in such a long time, so it’s been really good to decompress and settle into my place here in Utah.”
Rylee wrapped DWTS season 34 last month, ultimately opting against appearing on the cast’s 2026 live tour.

“So sad I won’t be on the DWTS tour this year,” she said in an October social media statement. “Being on tour the last two years was seriously the most amazing experience ever. I’ve made the best memories and met the best people.”
Rylee continued, “This year, I had to make the hard decision to sit it out and focus on my health, especially with managing my Type 1 diabetes, which can be tricky on the road.”
Rylee was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 15, nearly four years before she was cast as a DWTS pro.
“Those were the hardest three days of my life,” Rylee recalled to Women’s Health in 2024 of her diagnosis, which came after she nearly went into a diabetic coma after her blood sugar levels dropped during an amateur dance competition. “The reality set in on how difficult managing this disease was going to be and how much it was going to change everything. Every 20 minutes, a new person would come in and tell me something new. It was so overwhelming. My biggest thought was, ‘Am I going to be able to dance again?’”
