Katy Perry is apparently taking herself off the proverbial dating market, and she doesn’t seem unhappy about it.
“This guy is trying to get me to marry him and he has a ring in his hand,” Perry told the crowd during her Thursday, October 30, concert in Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic. “No! I am dating someone else for crying out f***ing loud.”
The comments came after Perry noticed a fan holding a sign that included a marriage proposal. She previously turned down a fan’s proposal in London on October 13.
“I heard you’re single,” a fan named Darren said, per footage posted on TikTok. “You heard I’m single? That’s interesting,” Perry, 40, responded. After he unrolled a sign asking Perry to marry him, the singer responded, “You know, you really should have asked me about 48 hours ago” — a reference to photos of her and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau packing on the PDA were published.
Perry has been exploring a romance with Trudeau since her split with longtime fiancé Orlando Bloom. The pair split in July 2025 after 10 years together. They share daughter Daisy Dove, 5.

“Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,” reps for the pair confirmed in a joint statement to Us Weekly at the time. “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
The “I Kissed a Girl” singer has since moved on with the politician – the pair were first romantically linked in July after they were spotted taking a walk in Montreal’s Mount Royal Park before going out to dinner the same evening. Us later confirmed their relationship on October 24, though insiders told Us the singer and Trudeau, 53, are taking things slow.
“They’ve decided to be much more private about it. … They are still speaking and are very interested in each other,” one source said at the time, while another added that their relationship “isn’t serious” since Perry was “extremely busy” on tour.
The source added, “Justin has made plans to see her when she has downtime in a few weeks when she gets back from her tour in Brazil. Katy is taking it day by day but is very open to dating.”
The duo did make sure to celebrate Perry’s birthday together on October 25, and their Parisian outing marked the first time they were spotted holding hands in public.
A source close to the couple offered Us insight into where they currently stand on the same day.
“Katy is really into it. She’s very happy,” the source told Us. “She’s trying to keep it low-key, and they’ve spent a lot of private time together. She’s not looking to publicize this relationship.”
They continued, “Their friends think they are a good match, but he actually hasn’t met a lot of her friends yet.”
