Latest Shocking Celebrity News: All the Cute Celebrity Couples Who Walked the Red Carpet at the 2023 NAACP Image Awards

What's better than attending an award show? Having that award show double as a date night! That's exactly what some of Hollywood's most adorable celebrity couples did at the 2023 NAACP Image Awards on Feb. 25. Among the couples who hit the red carpet together were Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, Courtney B. Vance and Angela Bassett (who won best actress in a drama series and entertainer of the year), and EGOT winner Viola Davis and her husband, Julius Tennon.

One celebrity couple even left the entire audience cheering thanks to their surprise appearance. While they didn't walk the red carpet, Brittney Griner and her wife, Cherelle, appeared on stage holding hands to raise awareness of the plight of American detainees overseas. "We are truly so thankful to all the people, many of whom are Black women and Black-led organizations, who fought so hard to bring BG home tonight," Cherelle said.

Brittney then spoke about how good it felt to be at the ceremony. "It feels so good to be here, especially with my beautiful, amazing wife and with all of y'all here today. I wanna thank everyone, and let's keep fighting to bring home every American still detained overseas," she said.
